Pokémon TCG Pocket, Dredge, Cyberpunk 2077, Porta Nubi, and What The Clash? all received recognition in Apple’s year-end 2025 App Store Awards.
The megacorp said the games and apps had been selected “for their technical ingenuity and lasting cultural impact” and were “hand-selected” by App Store editors from a long-list of 45 apps “demonstrating exceptional innovation, user experience, and design.”
“Every year, we’re inspired by the ways developers turn their best ideas into innovative experiences that enrich people’s lives,” said Apple CEO, Tim Cook.
“This year’s winners represent the creativity and excellence that define the App Store, and they demonstrate the meaningful impact that world-class apps and games have on people everywhere.”
Here’s the list of Apple Store Awards 2025 game winners:
- iPhone Game of the Year: Pokémon TCG Pocket
- iPad Game of the Year: Dredge
- Mac Game of the Year: Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition
- Apple Vision Pro Game of the Year: Porta Nubi
- Apple Arcade Game of the Year: What The Clash?
Art of Fauna, Despelote, and Chants of Sennaar were similarly recognized as winners of Apple’s Cultural Impact awards.
Google Play also recently unveiled its Best Of lists for 2025, with Pokémon TCG Pocket, Candy Crush Solitaire, Disco Elysium, and Dredge all getting recognition.
