Extraction shooter Arc Raiders has sold over 2.4 million copies in 2026 to date.

That’s according to the parent company of developer Embark Studios, Nexon, who told investors that the title has sold a total of 12.4 million copies to date. The company added that the shooter had shifted 10 million units by the end of December 2025.

Furthermore, Arc Raiders has hit a peak of 960,000 concurrent users in January.

“We are extremely pleased that Arc Raiders is being enjoyed with such high retention and enthusiasm in major markets around the world,” Nexon president and CEO Lee Jeong-hun said.

“The hugely successful launch in October, combined with cumulative sales of over 12.4 million units and a record-breaking peak of 960,000 concurrent users in January, demonstrates the title’s potential to grow into a new chapter in Nexon’s portfolio of blockbuster franchises.

“Embark Studios has delivered on the high expectations players around the world have placed on this title, delivering a fresh and highly unique experience in a major, globally established genre. The Nexon Group is pursuing a horizontal growth strategy to expand its business globally through new titles that create and grow large gaming communities in all major markets and platforms. The success of Arc Raiders clearly supports this goal.”

Embark CEO and founder Patrick Söderlund added: “Achieving 12.4 million units sold is a huge milestone, and we couldn’t have achieved it without our players. The Raiders community has been with us since the beginning, and their ideas and passion will continue to guide the direction of the game.”

This news also comes as the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund has sold its stake in Nexon to Ayar First Investment Company. This is a PIF subsidiary that now owns its 88,548,900 shares and 11.7% voting rights.

Ayar First Investment Company has also taken up the PIF’s stakes in companies such as Capcom, Koei Tecmo, Square Enix and Bandai Namco.

Nexon’s Lee Jeong-hun previously said that Arc Raiders was the company’s “most successful global launch” when the shooter was released in October.
