New York-based non profit organisation Games for Change is coming to the UK in a new partnership with London Games Festival.

The inaugural Games for Change London Summit, curated by Video Games Industry Memo editor George Osborn, will take place on April 15, 2026, at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge.

The summit is described as “bringing together industry professionals, educators, policymakers and innovators to explore how games can inspire positive social change.”

The agenda for the Games for Change London Summit was curated with the support of the Games for Change London advisory board, which includes:

  • Jude Ower (Planet Play chief strategy officer)
  • James Delaney (BlockWorks founder and managing director)
  • Sarah Ticho (Hatsumi director and XR Health Alliance joint managing director)
  • Phil Stuart (Preloaded founder and executive creative director)
  • Deborah Mensah-Bonsu (Supercell, social impact)

Speaker submissions for the Games for Change London Summit are now open, with a closing date of February 26, 2026.

“Games for Change has created a truly global community championing the social impact of games,” said London Games Festival director and head of Games London Michael French.

“Bringing the Games for Change Summit to London is a landmark moment for London Games Festival, reflecting the UK’s status as a centre for creativity, innovation, and game development. We’re proud to host its first UK edition.”

Games for Change president Susanna Pollack added: “London Games Festival provides the perfect platform for our UK debut. This partnership allows us to connect our global community with London’s uniquely diverse talent and ideas, as well as voices from across the UK and Europe, to build meaningful new partnerships around games for impact.”

The London Games Festival 2026 will run between April 13 to April 19.
