The organisers of this year’s Game Republic New Horizons conference have announced their second speaker: Rebecca Lautner, chief business officer at Landfall.
Lautner will join our features editor Lewis Packwood for a fireside chat to discuss Landfall’s operations and its new publishing division, Evil Landfall.
At Landfall, Lautner is responsible for brand development, business growth, external partnerships, and platform relations.
Before joining the Stockholm-based developer, Lautner led a European Union-funded initiative to create a global network for knowledge exchange and business development in the games industry.
“I am looking forward to coming to the Game Republic New Horizons conference and sharing our games experience and thoughts on the future opportunities for the games industry in Europe and beyond,” said Lautner.
“We’re delighted that Rebecca can join us for New Horizons,” said Game Republic managing director Jamie Sefton.
“Peak has been such an incredible hit globally – and the session will highlight a studio in Europe not only making fantastic games but now investing in and publishing third-party titles, too.”
Lautner joins previously announced keynote speaker Ken Kutaragi, known as the ‘Father of the PlayStation.’
Game Republic also established a new international advisory board in March to support its 2026 conference, which takes place between October 14 and 16 at Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough.
Tickets for this year’s conference are now available, with an early-bird offer open until April 30, 2026.
