IGN Live 2026 has arrived, and we’ve got a two-day celebration of all things gaming and entertainment filled with celebrity panels, exclusive game reveals, trailers, live stage shows, hands-on demos, giveaways, and so much more.
While we’re hosting IGN Live in-person in downtown Los Angeles at Magic Box @ The Reef on June 6-7, we’re also livestreaming the biggest moments! Furthermore, this guide will gather all the biggest reveals right here in this guide, and we’ll keep updating it throughout the weekend!
There are plenty of surprises in store, but look out for segments on Day 1 with such heavy hitters as Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Backyard Baseball, Control Resonant, Jackass: Best and Last, 007 First Light / Hitman, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Star Trek’s 60th anniversary celebrations, ID@Xbox, The Death of Robin Hood, and more.

Star Trek: Shadow Frontier Game Reveal Trailer Explores Trek’s Darker Side
IGN Live saw the exciting reveal of the upcoming game Star Trek: Shadow Frontier, a mature, story-driven, action-adventure game that offers a different and darker side of Star Trek than is usually the norm. As shown in the reveal trailer, the game also has a notable main character in the form of former Lieutenant Ro Laren, the popular Star Trek: The Next Generation character played by Michelle Forbes. And yes, that’s Forbes voicing Ro.
Control Resonant Creative Director on the Sequel Shifting to an Action RPG
We were able to speak to Control Resonant creative director Mikael Kasurinen about why the sequel shifted to an action RPG. He shared that Control is all about these siblings – Jesse and Dylan Faden – and he said the idea of this change was to really spotlight how “both siblings have their own personality and approach and ways of doing things. If Jesse uses a gun, then of course Dylan uses a melee weapon.”
