Xbox has begun offering the starter edition of Game Pass to Meta Horizon+ subscribers.
The starter edition of Game Pass is available to eligible members in supported regions.
This follows a partnership with Discord announced in May, which also extended the benefit to Nitro subscribers.
Meta Horizon+ subscription pricing remains unchanged at $59.99 per year or $7.99 per month.
The starter edition of Game Pass includes over 50 games, 10 hours of cloud gaming, and rewards for playing. Meta Horizon+ offers a library of more than 100 VR games.
In the coming weeks, players will be able to emulate the Xbox gamepad using Meta Quest Touch controllers. Those with an Xbox controller can pair it with the Meta Quest headset.
Earlier this year, Meta announced it would shift the focus of its Horizon Worlds metaverse platform to mobile.
Meta also stated it will support third-party developers of VR software and sustain its VR investment over the long term, rather than prioritising first-party development.
“We’ll continue to support the third-party community through strategic partnerships and targeted investments – as we have since the beginning.”
