All-Clad Factory Seconds Sale: Cookware Deals for Fall Cooking

All-Clad cookware is a buy-it-for-life staple, according to the WIRED Reviews team and, well, everyone else. My parents have owned an 8-inch All-Clad frying pan as long as I can remember—and I grew up in the ’80s—and I’ve owned an All-Clad sauté pan that’s almost 25 years old and still looks like I bought it last year.

I subscribe to the “buy once, cry once” philosophy, but a full set of All-Clad pots runs $800; the best way to build a collection is often to buy the pieces you need, as you need them. Factory seconds sales like this are typically the best way to go about this—huge discounts can be had on cookware that only has packaging damage or a minor blemish. For this sale, the site states what the specific problem is, and every piece comes with the same limited lifetime warranty as regular All-Clad cookware.

Note that you will need to enter your email address to access the sale (though when I did this, I got a coupon for free shipping over $60); all sales are final; and items you see are of limited quantity and may not be restocked, so if you see something you like, don’t wait until later.

Best All-Clad Deals

This is the sauté pan I have, and it really is $180 right now at Williams Sonoma. It’s super versatile with its straight sides that allow you to cook one-pot meals, and it’s oven-safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, so you can even use it under the broiler.

If I were going to buy one thing from this sale, it would be these kitchen shears. Kitchen shears are one of the most useful things you can have as a home cook, whether for cutting herbs and trimming fat or slicing through small bones. I haven’t tried All-Clad’s, but I imagine they’re legit.

Home and Cook Sales says this is the lowest price this roaster has ever been, but note that it does not include the rack. Worry not, however—searching Amazon for “All-Clad roasting pan rack replacement” brings up multiple options for less than $30.

This set includes a versatile 12-inch frying pan, a 2-quart saucepan, and a 4-quart sauté pan—all with lids. They’re all around the right size for one or two people, so this set would make a great wedding gift.

I have a Calphalon version of this pot, but I wish I had All-Clad. It’s ideal for making stock with leftover turkey bones, cooking long pasta like spaghetti or fettuccine, or just whipping up large quantities of soup.

I have had the regular-size version of these measuring cups for more than 20 years, and they still look brand-new. I love that they look like little pots, and if you’re looking for a gift for the cook who has everything, these odd-size measuring cups are perfect—the set includes ⅔ cup, ¾ cup, and 1.5 cups.

A 1-quart saucepan only holds 4 cups, but it’s pretty useful to have for melting butter and making small quantities of sauces and gravies, or cooking a single-serving meal.

Imagine serving Thanksgiving sides or even a small roast in this attractive oven-to-table pot that even comes with matching oven mitts! You also can’t beat this giftable price.
