If WIRED buying guides are like the Oscars, Anker is like the Meryl Streep of charging, sweeping the top awards of nearly every charging-related guide—Best Portable Chargers and Power Banks, Best Android Chargers, Best Wireless Chargers, Best 3-in-1 Chargers, Best MagSafe Chargers—even Best USB Car Chargers.
As the owner of several Anker chargers, I understand firsthand why they’re so popular: Reliable and exceedingly well-designed, they fit seamlessly into your life and routine. Now also happens to be a great time to stock up on chargers, both due to impending storms forecasted for many regions and just more time spent indoors, which usually—if we’re being honest—means more battery-draining doomscrolling.
Anker’s sitewide Halloween sale runs through November 1. To access 20 percent off the brand’s excellent charging gear, just enter the code HALLOWEEN20. Our WIRED-tested recommendations are below.
Our Favorite Wall Charger
We love the foldable prongs of this pocket-sized wall charger, which is our top pick for Android smartphones that use the Power Delivery (PD) charging standard, a fast-charging protocol for USB-C. This updated version of the exact model we tested features a built-in display to tell you the charging status at a glance.
Our Favorite Portable Laptop Power Bank
This power bank packs a 25,000-mAh capacity, which can deliver up to 165 watts to two devices. We loved the retractable 2.3-foot USB cable and the second braided 1-foot cable that doubles as a carry loop. It has a digital display, as well as pass-through charging. Because it’s below the power-capacity limit for flights, it’s a great option to bring with you for air travel.

MagGo Power Bank for Apple Watch
This 10,000-mAh-capacity battery is an excellent charger in its own right, with a built-in USB-C cable and USB-C port. It also has a pop-up Apple Watch charger that delivers 5 watts and allows for Nightstand mode. It displays the remaining power and current charging rate.
Our Favorite MagSafe Power Bank

MagGo Power Bank (10K) (Qi2)
This is WIRED reviewer Simon Hill’s favorite MagSafe power bank he’s ever used (and he’s used a lot!). It’s got a solid 10,000-mAh capacity, can fast-charge, and has an LED display that shows the percentage of remaining power. My teen son has one as well, so I can attest to its excellent design (on the rare occasion he lets me use it).
Best Travel Charger

MagGo Wireless Charging Station (Foldable 3-in-1)
Charge your smartphone, smartwatch, and wireless earbuds all in one go with this slim fold-out charger that we love. It can feel a bit crowded when everything’s charging at once, but the space-saving design makes it perfect for those who travel light.
Our Favorite Small Power Station
Anker
Solix C1000 Portable Power Station
One of WIRED reviewer Simon Hill’s favorite power stations, this 1,056-watt-hour–capacity power bank has a handle that makes it easy to carry. Simon had no problem using it to power a small fridge, TV, and power drill. The charger is also more than capable of fast-charging phones at a campsite or during power outages. It conveniently features an input for solar panels or charging from a car socket.
Charging Bundles With … Labubus?
Forgive me, but are Labubus still a thing? It’s been a while since I’ve spotted a grimy monster keychain (yes, they all look grimy and dirty to me; no, I will not be taking it back) in the wild, but I couldn’t help noticing that Anker’s Halloween sale features Labubu blind box bundles with some of its more popular chargers and power banks. Blind boxes are always going to be a hit, I think, so bundling one with some of our favorite WIRED-recommended charging gear could be a solid crossover gift for the right person.
The lavender “Twilight” option contains the Anker MagGo Power Bank we love (featured above), plus two wireless backup batteries and a Labubu blind box; while the orange “Pumpkin” option has the Labubu blind box plus the MagGo Power Bank, 45-watt Nano wall charger (featured above), and one wireless backup battery.
