Everyday carry (EDC) enthusiasts and social media influencers have made the Ridge Wallet a favorite for its durability and minimalist design. But it’s not just hype. In her testing, WIRED reviewer Louryn Strampe gave it high marks, saying, “I can’t see myself using anything else,” even though she’s not a minimalist and didn’t fall for the “ridiculous” marketing. It’s also one of the wallets I use on vacation, when I just need to carry a few credit cards without drawing attention to the usual George Costanza bulge in my pocket.

Select Ridge Wallet styles are currently on sale for $76 (normally $95) as part of the brand’s Friends & Family sale, which also has discounts on other Ridge accessories like pocket knives, power banks, luggage, trackers, and more. If the wallet turns out to not be your thing, Ridge will refund you as part of its 99-day risk-free trial.

As Strampe mentioned in her review, the Ridge Wallet will look unfamiliar to newbies. In fact, it may not feel user-friendly at first. The wallet acts like a sandwich for all your cards, using two aluminum pieces held together with screws and elastic bands. It holds up to 12 cards, but you can adjust the opening with the T-5 Torx screws and included screwdriver to fit exactly how many cards you need.

If you’re a minimalist, the Ridge Wallet can help you stay that way. For Strampe, she can’t imagine the Ridge replacing her purse—she still needs to carry her car keys and other necessities. But it does help her keep all her cards—credit, driver’s license, Costco—in one place without rummaging through her bag or using a bulkier wallet.

The Ridge Wallet is somewhat customizable. You can add a cash strap or clip on the outside; there’s even a money clip with a slot for an AirTag. There’s also a chain and D-ring attachment, and you can personalize your Ridge Wallet with colored screws.

Ridge’s 10,000-mAh power bank is our recommendation for the best MagSafe option with built-in Lightning and USB-C cables. It’s nice not to have to carry extra cables, but another reason it’s our top pick is that it looks slick. It also acts as a kickstand for an iPhone when attached. While it isn’t on sale individually, you can get three for the price of two. Trust me, it never hurts to have more than one power bank.

The Ridge Wallet has a MagSafe version that attaches to the back of an iPhone. It’s on sale for $99, but you can knock $10 off if you buy it through Shop. Ridge’s website offers it as part of the Daily Driver Kit—also on sale—which includes a matching KeyCase.
