LEGO and Star Wars have been in collaboration for decades, starting with the launch of the very first X-Wing LEGO Star Wars set released in 1999. Since then, both brands have evolved significantly, producing countless specialty sets that double as collector’s items with impressive scale and depth.
The Ultimate Collector’s Series, also known as the UCS, is a line of sets that takes LEGO to new heights. These large sets typically feature meticulous attention to detail both inside and out, as well as an impressive scale that makes them amazing for display. While most LEGO Star Wars sets are great for a variety of ages, UCS sets are known to be more exclusive and are better suited for adult collectors. With new releases like Jabba’s Sail Barge and the LEGO Minecraft Crafting Table set, it’s refreshing to see that LEGO has taken significant strides in catering more to its adult fanbase who grew up with these sets.

Jabba’s Sail Barge: An Overview
Avid UCS collectors have been going crazy over the reveal of the latest Star Wars LEGO set, Jabba’s Sail Barge. Upon first look, it’s clear to see that this set is absolutely massive, measuring 10″ tall and 31″ long, making it one of the largest Star Wars UCS sets to date, behind the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser set.
Jabba’s Sail Barge, also known as the Khetanna, is made up of almost 4,000 pieces and boasts a highly detailed exterior and interior with several rooms to explore. Lift off the top deck or fold down the sides to reveal the interior of Jabba’s Sail Barge, which features a cockpit, a prison cell, an armory, Jabba’s entertainment room, and a kitchen with a ladder leading back to the upper deck.
The top of the ship is kept accurate to what’s seen in the film, with angular fabric sails and several cannons located along the sides and in the center of the deck.
Minifigures Included
Jabba’s Sail Barge comes with 11 characters total, with a few featuring uniquely molded figures to best match their on-screen counterparts. This set naturally comes with a Jabba the Hutt figure that’s slightly larger than the standard LEGO minifigure. Also included are several notable characters associated with Jabba’s criminal organization, like Bib Fortuna, Kithaba, Vizam, Wooof, Salacious B. Crumb, and a Gamorrean Guard. Other notable characters include Princess Leia, Max Rebo, C-3PO, and R2-D2 with a bar table on his head, just like in Star Wars: Return of The Jedi.
Close Ups & Other Details
Although Jabba’s Sail Barge set has yet to be released, LEGO has provided some close-up shots that showcase the intricate details seen throughout this massive set. These images offer a closer look at the scale and complexity of the model, further justifying the premium price tag.
These first two images show off the kitchen, which is packed with details that give the set a lot of life. The room is filled with lots of miscellaneous clutter like plates, bottles, cups, food, utensils, and even an open flame.
Located right beside the kitchen is the armory and prison cell, where the walls are lined with a variety of LEGO-style weapons.
Jabba’s entertainment room stays true to the film and features Jabba’s bed as well as a staged platform for Max Rebo to play on.
As with all UCS LEGO Star Wars sets, Jabba’s Sail Barge comes with a unique display label to bring your collection to the next level. Listing specifications of the exact ship model within the Star Wars universe, this commemorative sign discloses specific details about the manufacturer, speed, length, weapons, and ownership.
