Save on Nintendo Switch Games for Prime DayMore Switch Games on Sale at Best BuyThe Nintendo eShop Summer Sale Ends TonightMore Prime Day Deals

The Nintendo Switch may have seen its successor arrive this year, but whichever hybrid system you have, there are a solid number of games on sale as part of Amazon’s Prime Day offers. From big hits like Balatro to collections of classic games and even a pair of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles titles, there’s something for just about everyone. Here’s the full list:

Save on Nintendo Switch Games for Prime Day

Before we get started, it’s worth mentioning that everything on this list is playable on the Switch 2 thanks to backward compatibility. Though none have received free upgrades like some of Nintendo’s first-party games, there may be performance bumps just by virtue of the increased power.

In any case, the big bargain here is likely to be the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1, which is reduced by more than half of its MSRP down to just $16.99. Considering that includes classics like the first three Metal Gear Solid titles, you’re paying just a few dollars per game. We reckon that’s a deal Big Boss would approve of.

Sticking with other collections and remasters, the legendary Suikoden and Suikoden II’s HD remasters are available for just $29.99, with a discount of 40%, while Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is down to $34.99 after a 42% price cut. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, which includes a whopping 12 games, is down to just $19.99.

More JRPGs? Sure thing. You can snag a 40% discount on the Final Fantasy Collection Anniversary Edition, which includes Final Fantasy 1 – 6, with updated 2D pixel graphics, a rearranged soundtrack, modernized UI, and more. It also includes a sticker sheet, neat!

Absolutely everyone should play indie darling Balatro, and its physical version is now $19.99. This roguelite deckbuilder with poker elements is fiendishly moreish, and the Switch (and Switch 2) make for ideal places to play it whenever you find some time.

It wouldn’t be a list of Switch games without some coziness, and you can find Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life down to just $19.99 and Hello Kitty Island Adventure – Deluxe Edition at $43.99, with discounts of 33% and 27% respectively.

Finally, there are two TMNT games included. Mutants Unleashed sees a price cut of 55%, bringing it down to $17.99, while Shredder’s Revenge is $22.99 after a 34% discount. Cowa-bargain!

More Switch Games on Sale at Best Buy

Best Buy is offering $20 off of the likes of Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 3, and much more, with some of them getting that all-important Switch 2 upgrade for free.

Super Mario Odyssey earned a 10/10 from us back in 2017, and it’s lost none of its charm. In fact, this superlative 3D platformer has only improved on Nintendo’s latest hardware with a higher resolution and better frame rate, which make it a game you’re likely to keep coming back to (seriously, if you’ve not played it, now is the time).

The Nintendo eShop Summer Sale Ends Tonight

If you’re not pressed about having a physical copy of your games, it’s definitely worth checking out ongoing deals on the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo has been running a Summer Sale that coincided with the start of Prime Day, but ends tonight (July 9) at 11:59pm PT. These deals are your best chance at grabbing a first-party Nintendo game on sale, given the ongoing tensions between Amazon and Nintendo.

More Prime Day Deals

Be sure to check out more of our Prime Day coverage, including the best deals overall, microSD cards for your Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch, and the PlayStation Portal for just $124.
