Fortnite: When Is the Next Update?

With only a couple of weeks left in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, many players have already done everything there is to do, which includes completing Weekly Quests and Milestone Quests, unlocking the main section of the Battle Pass, and exploring every nook and cranny on the island. Thankfully, an update is just around the corner.

Fortnite Update Date & Time

The upcoming Fortnite update will be the last one to be released in Chapter 5 Season 3. After, gamers will only receive more content once downtime ends on August 16 for the start of Chapter 5 Season 4.

The next Fortnite update is scheduled to release on August 6, 2024. In the past few updates, downtime has started at 4 AM EST, and it should be no different now. Gamers can expect Fortnite downtime to begin at 4 AM EST on August 6, 2024, and matchmaking should be disabled 30 minutes prior to ensure that players aren’t kicked out halfway through a Battle Royale match.
