Applications are now open for London Games Festival’s Games London Accelerator 2026 – Unlocking IP.

The two-month programme will run January-March 2026 for UK-based developers and feature a mix of online and in-person sessions focused on how developers can develop their IP “while scaling your game studio at the same time.” The sessions will be mentored by Christian Fonnesbech and Jennifer Schneidereit.

The five selected UK-based studios will also get free access to the Games Finance Market on April 14 and 15, and free showcase space at New Game Plus on April 16 and 17 at the London Games Festival.

“We launched the first Games London Pitch Bootcamp in 2017 and set the ball rolling on a long-running programme for talent development in UK and London games businesses that eventually led to the Games London Accelerator and then Game Changer,” said head of Games London, Michael French.

“And what was a novelty is now widespread – about 10 more comparable programmes have cropped up nationally and regionally, which is great to see.

“So for our next Games London Accelerator we are laser-focusing on a specific theme: creating quality IP that can compete globally. This is one of the next big challenges for UK games businesses.”

Applicants should apply by December 8.
