Sony and Sucker Punch Productions have announced Ghost of Yōtei will receive free Legends multiplayer co-op DLC in 2026.
A new trailer for the bonus mode showed up during gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, revealing little more than some intriguing art and a promise to launch next year. Still, it’s footage that comes with even more from Sucker Punch’s new action sequel as its October 2, 2025, release date inches closer.
Sony took to a PlayStation.Blog post to share more about what fans can expect from the Ghost of Yōtei Legends DLC. It sounds like Sucker Punch is keeping its cards close to its chest for now, but the team does tease that the content will come with two-player story missions and four-player survival matches.
“This time around, you’ll play as one of four character classes and try to defeat demonic, giant versions of members of the Yōtei Six, plus a variety of new enemies that fight alongside them,” Sucker Punch Senior Communications Manager Andrew Goldfarb said.
The studio says it will have more to share about Ghost of Yōtei Legends when it launches in 2026. In the meantime, it has released three new concept art images to give players a sneak preview of what’s in store.
