Glide Path Trailblazer Quest – Echoes of Wisdom
After clearing the Eldin Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll finally complete one of the main questlines: The Rift on Eldin Volcano. This will also continue the Lands of the Goddesses questline.
New quests will appear nearby now that the land is back to normal. If you head to the cliffs just east of Goron City, you’ll find a young Goron with a red icon over his head. Speak to him to start the Glide Path side quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

The Goron in question is upset that his brother doesn’t want to play with him anymore. So, he wants you to show him how to glide on the path that he presents to you and reach the flag at the end without touching the ground once.
This first path is pretty easy to get through. If you haven’t glided before in Echoes of Wisdom, it’s actually pretty simple. You just need to summon a bird Echo, like the Crow, and then grab it before it flies away. Once you have a hold on it, walk off the edge of the cliff and just move the control stick to control the direction.
You need to make it to the end of the path’s flag on the left, so just keep getting some air by hovering over the wind spots. You shouldn’t need to get close to the fire monsters crawling on the wall either.
Once you reach the end, he’ll give you 10 portions of
Rock Salt
, which can be used to make some really
tasty (and helpful) smoothies
. You can speak to the boy again to start a
second glide path side quest.
Glide Path Trailblazer Quest – Echoes of Wisdom
Seko will want you to meet his older brother, Disian. He happens to have a gliding course that’s a bit harder than his younger brother’s. His is called the Eldin Death Road of Pain, which should give you an idea of what to expect.
The strategy will be similar to the first glide path: to stay as high up in the air as possible while going to the left. Remember that you can stay on top of the updrafts for as long as you want. So, if you need to wait for the hot air to stop coming out of the walls on the left side, you can chill for a second.
Here’s how we went through the Glide Path Trailblazer course:
- Immediately go to the updraft close to the cliff to the north.
- Fly to the one directly left.
- Go past the hot air hissing out of the cliff into the updraft further left.
- Keep hugging the cliff to reach the next one.
- Wait for the right time to pass the damaging puffs of air. Do it again, and then you will finally reach Disian.
