It can be difficult keeping track of the various comings and goings in the games industry, which is why we compile them in semi-regular round-ups.

If you have new appointments or transitions in your company that belong here, please send the names of appointees, new role and company, and prior role and company to [email protected].

Three new execs at ProbablyMonsters

ProbablyMonsters has made three new appointments on its leadership team: Jonathan Lander as chief publishing officer, David Reid as chief marketing officer, and Mark Subotnick as chief product officer.

Lander previously served as Bethesda Softworks’ senior vice president of global product and publishing operations.

Reid has more than two decades of publishing marketing leadership experience, including senior roles at Behaviour Interactive, CCP Games, Trion Worlds, and Xbox Platform Marketing.

Subotnick was head of studios at ProbablyMonsters. In his new role as CPO, he “ensures creative direction and production discipline stay aligned across the portfolio.”

“As we continue building a balanced portfolio of original games, strong product and publishing leadership is essential,” said ProbablyMonsters CEO and founder Harold Ryan.

“Our strategy is grounded in focus and discipline, with a long-term lens. Jonathan, David, and Mark bring the experience and judgment needed to help execute at a high level and deliver great games to market with clarity.

“We are committed to building an environment where talented developers can do their best work, and that requires both meaningful support and a high performance bar.”

Timea Edvi | Publishing director, Kasedo Games

Timea Edvi has joined Kasedo Games as publishing director.

Edvi has over twenty years of experience in games publishing, platform partnerships, and indie development support.

She was previously head of Square Enix Collective, where she oversaw projects and partnerships such as PowerWash Simulator and Little Goody Two Shoes.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Kasedo Games at such an exciting time,” said Edvi.

“Kasedo has built a strong reputation for publishing thoughtful, system-driven indie strategy titles and working closely with talented development teams.

I’m looking forward to collaborating with our partners and the wider Kalypso Media Group to expand the label’s global footprint and bring exceptional new games to players around the world.”

Sixteen Tons appoints Sebastian Nußuam as CCO

Sixteen Tons has appointed Sebastian Nußuam as chief creative officer.

Nußuam previously served as Wooga’s VP of creative, and was game director on June’s Journey. He is joining Sixteen Tons’ leadership team “to help drive the next phase of growth for its Emergency franchise.

“What Jan Richter and the team have achieved with Emergency over the past months is truly impressive,” said Nußuam. “The dynamic growth, the clarity of the strategic direction, and the strength of the team made it clear to me that something special is happening at Sixteen Tons.

“Emergency holds enormous potential, and I am convinced that my experience can meaningfully contribute to the continued evolution of this brand.”
