The adorable Animal Crossing-like Pokémon game, Pokémon Pokopia, is now available for Switch 2 owners to preorder. It’s currently live at various retailers – including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and the Nintendo eShop – with a price tag of $69.99 and is set to be released next year on March 5, 2026.

For those who purchase the game early – whether it’s the game-key card or digital version – you’ll get a Ditto rug that you can use as a decoration in the houses you build in-game, which you can see above. You’ll have until January 31, 2027 to claim it.
What Is Pokémon Pokopia?
Pokémon Pokopia was announced back in September during that month’s Nintendo Direct. You play as a Ditto that’s taken on the form of a human with goals of building a cozy new life for yourself and the Pokémon you meet. As you progress in the game, you’ll meet new Pokémon who can teach you different moves to aid in your quest to build-up the world around you, allowing you to create homes for the Pokémon you befriend, grow crops, and more.
