Chris Chung joins Neowiz as head of global business group

Chris Chung has been appointed head of global business group at Neowiz.

Chung previously served as chief product officer at Wargaming and head of business at NCSoft Korea and the head of NCSoft West. He also founded Motiga, the creator of Gigantic.

“Chung’s experience in every stage of bringing the game to the global market is exactly why he is the right fit to lead our Global Business Group, and we look forward to utilising his expertise as we grow our gaming portfolio,” said a Neowiz representative.

“In tandem with our recent leadership changes, we recognised the need to have someone with the mindset to empathise and truly partner with developers and creators across the globe.”

Neowiz recently reorganised its divisions into three groups: the Gaming Studios Group, the Global Business Group, and the Live Game Business Group.

Dylan Beale | Studio head (Guildford), Larian

Dylan Beale has been appointed studio head of Larian’s Guildford studio.

Beale was studio director at DPS Games and development director at Wargaming UK.

Jonnie Bryant joins Team17 as communications director

Jonnie Bryant has been appointed communications director at Team17. Bryant previously worked at Bethesda Softworks as global PR director.

“We’re delighted to have Jonnie become a part of our new marketing leadership,” said Team17 general manager Harley Homewood. “We are looking to fully employ his skills to help consolidate and enhance media and market awareness for all of our titles.”

Gemma Cannon | Creative designer, Sega Europe

Gemma Cannon has joined Sega Europe as a creative designer. Cannon previously served as digital designer at IGN Entertainment.

Teemu Koski | CEO of MENA business, Nodwin Gaming

Teemu Koski has taken on the role as CEO of MENA business at Nodwin Gaming.

Koski joined Nodwin in 2025 as chief business officer for MENA. He previously served as chief growth officer at YaLLa Esports.

Robert Henrysson steps down as Supermassive Games CEO

Robert Henrysson has announced he will step down as CEO of Supermassive Games and as a partner at Nordisk Games.

“As CEO, I was honoured to guide the studio through intense industry change, broadening its client base and establishing a culture of consistent quality across all aspects of the game development process,” said Henrysson.

“Leading a studio is never a one-man job – it is the entire team’s effort. Our commitment to continuous improvement was, and continues to be, central to everything we do. To everyone at Supermassive Games, I am so grateful for everything I’ve learnt and experienced with all of you.”

Tim Stokes joins Nex Playground as interim general manager, EMEA & ANZ

Tim Stokes has joined Nex Playground as interim general manager. Stokes will lead commercial growth and expansion of Nex Playground across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

Ryan Ferwerda | Head of live services & mobile at EA Tiburon

Ryan Ferwerda has been promoted to head of live services & mobile at Electronic Arts Tiburon. Ferwerda previously served as head of mobile, focusing on EA Sports including roles as general manager and game director.

Emily Dixon | Senior account executive, Bastion

Emily Dixon has been appointed senior account executive at Bastion. Dixon previously worked as a games journalist, contributing to sites including GFinity, 101 Realsport, and Dualshockers.

Hakan Burak Karaman | Head of games, Rovio Entertainment

Hakan Burak Karaman has been promoted to head of games at Rovio Entertainment. Karaman previously served as senior product manager, having joined Rovio as product manager in April 2023.

Christopher Serra joins Paramount Games as VP of business development and licensing

Christopher Serra has been appointed VP of business development and licensing at Paramount Games.

Serra previously served as director of games business development at Oculus VR.

Alexis Bonte departs Stillfront as CEO

Alexis Bonte will leave his role as CEO of Stillfront, a position he assumed in October 2024. He joined the company in 2017 as group COO.

“Alexis stepped into the CEO role at a challenging time and has led the company through a decisive period of strategic and organisational change with great professionalism and commitment, leaving Stillfront stronger and well positioned for its next chapter,” said Stillfront chair of the board Lars-Johan Jarnheimer.

“We are grateful that Alexis remains fully dedicated to Stillfront throughout the transition to ensure a smooth and seamless handover.”

Jakub Karolczak | Production coordinator, 11 Bit Studios

Jakub Karolczak has been promoted to production coordinator at 11 Bit Studios. He previously served as senior producer at the company.

Hector Parra | Live game producer, Niantic

Hector Parra has been appointed live game producer at Niantic. He previously served as producer at CGBOT and creative project manager at Dracma Studios.

Nicholas Penwarden leaves Epic Games

Nicholas Penwarden has announced his departure from Epic Games, where he served as engineering fellow and VP of engineering for 15 years, holding roles including director of Unreal Engine and development manager of Unreal Engine 4.

“I’m proud of the part I was able to play in Unreal Engine’s evolution from UE3 to where it stands today,” said Penwarden.

“It’s remarkable to see how far the engine has come, how much the community has grown, and all the incredible games and experiences developers have created with it.

“Most of all, I’m proud of the team we built: the most talented, passionate, and extraordinary group of engine and game developers I could have hoped to work alongside.”

Raptor PR announces two new appointments

Raptor PR has appointed Ruzbeh Gazdar as account director and Sophia Hollis as senior account executive.

Gazdar was a senior account manager at GingerMay, and Hollis was an account executive at Zeno London.

Joe Kearns | Project manager, Yrs Truly

Joe Kearns has joined Yrs Truly as project manager. He previously served as a producer at ICHI Worldwide.

Jaakko Harlas departs from Supercell

Jaakko Harlas has announced his departure from Supercell, where he served as head of investments for over 12 years.
