The 2026 Rocket League World Championship Finals will be broadcast at 50 AMC Theaters across the United States.
The Finals take place on Sunday, September 20. That day, fans can show up to participating AMC Theaters nationwide and catch the action on the big screen.
The competition will stream live from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, where 20 teams will throw down for the chance to win $300,000 out of a staggering $1.2 million prize pool. The total broadcast will last approximately eight hours.
Tickets are currently on sale at participating theaters, with adult tickets priced at $19.49 ($22.18 if booked online). Only a few of these theaters are showing the Finals, and tickets are selling out fast, so make sure to grab yours quickly if you want a front row seat to see who gets crowned the 15th Rocket League World Champions.
Most major esports tournaments are streamed on Twitch, with viewers receiving special drops that can be earned by simply watching on the platform. AMC Theaters has already thought of this, and is giving fans commemorative Rocket League tickets that include codes to redeem the drops that they would normally get watching the competition on Twitch.
“Such a big part of the magic of movie theatres is their ability to bring people together for unforgettable shared experiences, and a live event like the Rocket League World Championship is a great example of that,” Ellen Copaken, SVP of Business Development for AMC Theatres, said in a press release. “We’re excited to give fans the opportunity to watch esports’ biggest stage unfold live on massive screens, surrounded by fellow Rocket League fans.”

This isn’t the first time an esports tournament has been shown at a theater; last year, the League of Legends Worlds Finals in Chengdu, China were shown in select theaters across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Riot did the same for the Valorant Champions Paris Finals, which also screened in certain cinemas throughout EMEA.
AMC’s decision to broadcast esports is the latest unique move from the brand after it founded a film distribution company to help get smaller films into theaters. With small-budget projects like Obsession and Markiplier’s Iron Lung proving to be hits at the box office, AMC is stepping in to capitalize on the trend and bring art to the masses.
