CodeDev Group, also known as The Unreal Guys, has launched a new studio called Full Spectrum Interactive.
The studio is led by a group of UK industry veterans, including head of studio Matt Southern, CCO Christian McKinney, and CTO Rob Williams.
The leadership team also includes group chair Rik Alexander, group CEO Myke Parrott, and group BD director Nina Cliff.
Full Spectrum Interactive will focus on developing small to AA titles and is currently working on original prototypes. The studio will also offer full project co-development services.
It will also utilise talent from The Unreal Guys and its optimisation division, The Performance Guys, to support engineering, design, and technical art.
“Access to the CodeDev team is a great luxury for a small studio like us,” said CTO Rob Williams. “We can find and onboard talented senior staff very quickly and easily, and scale back down after a project without any loss of jobs or institutional knowledge.
“This low-risk environment frees us to put together exactly the right team for each project, without compromise.”
Southern added: “From day one, making games has always been a fantastic collaborative mashup of arts and sciences, driven by experts obsessed with pushing creative boundaries.
“At FSI, we bring the full spectrum of that interdisciplinary talent together under one roof to deliver games that hit with real impact – games crafted thoughtfully, delivered reliably, and designed to perform.”
