Finnish developer Housemarque will present a talk at this year’s Nordic Game conference, focusing on the development of its latest title Saros.
In the session ‘Lessons from Carcosa: Art & Design Direction for Saros,’ brand director Mikael Haveri, associate design director Mitja Roskaric, and art director Simone Silvestri will discuss how art and design work together to refine Housemarque’s gameplay-first philosophy.

The schedule also includes speakers such as Laced Music’s Mat Ombler, marketing journalist Junae Benne, and Connecting the Pixel’s founder Martin Walfisz.
There will also be a State of the Industry 2026 panel that features experts from Newzoo, Game Advisor, Embracer Group, and Mighty Diamonds.
Last week, organisers announced the speakers for its Masterclass Friday programme, which offers full-day workshops and expert-led sessions in game development.
Nordic Game will feature over 100 developers presenting their games in the Developer Showcase Hall, hosted by indie hub Spelkollektivet.
Developers from over 25 countries, including the Nordics, Japan, China, Ukraine, and South Africa, will have opportunities to connect with publishers, investors, media, and industry peers.
