Krafton reported record Q1 results, with revenue up 56.9% to ₩1.37 trillion ($931 million) and operating profit at ₩561.6 billion ($381.3 million).

The mobile segment generated ₩702.7 billion ($477 million), the largest share of revenue.

Growth was driven by premium content, IP collaborations, and a 17% year-on-year increase in paying users for Battlegrounds Mobile India, supported by server upgrades and expanded content.

PC revenue reached ₩363.9 billion ($247.1 million), supported by new content and robust live service operations for PUBG: Battlegrounds.

The PUBG franchise achieved 24% year-on-year revenue growth, surpassing ₩1 trillion ($679 million).

Krafton recorded ₩13.8 billion ($9.3 million) in console revenue and ₩291.0 billion ($197.6 million) from other segments.

Krafton reaffirmed its AI-first strategy, emphasising its AI for Game initiative, which focuses on “delivering differentiated gameplay experiences using AI.”

Last October, the firm announced it would “prioritise AI as a central and primary means of problem-solving” and “foster change in individuals and organisations [to] increase company-wide productivity and accelerate mid- to long-term corporate value growth.”

In its 2025 earnings, Krafton surpassed $2 billion in revenue for the first time, driven by its PUBG IP, which saw “double-digit growth”.
