Mattress sales come and go so often that it’s hard to determine what’s an actual deal. The times of year when we see the most legit mattress deals are Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. And this year is no different. We’re already seeing our favorite WIRED-tested bedding and mattress brands offering discounts leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year.
I’ll be on the lookout for more deals on our favorite WIRED-tested mattresses and accessories as we approach the major sales event, so be sure to check back often for fresh discounts that I’ve found on these often-pricey purchases. (Note that all mattress prices below are for queen sizes.)

Deals on Mattresses
20 to 30 Percent Off Helix Mattresses (With Code)
This Helix mattress has been our top pick for years and remains one of the most popular bed-in-a-box options for good reason. Its plush pillowtop and medium-firm feel make it comfortable for nearly any sleeper, whether they sleep on their side, back, or stomach.
We love Helix in general, and right now the brand has 20 percent off sitewide when you use the Helix promo code BF20. It also offers special discounts, including 25 percent off Luxe mattresses with promo code LUXE25 and 30 percent off Elite mattresses with code ELITE30. (All listed Helix promo codes are valid through November 29.)
25 Percent Off Birch Mattresses (With Code)
We really love this organic mattress. When we tested the Luxe model above, we found it offered a lovely balance of plush comfort and pressure relief, with just enough bounce to make it a great choice for back sleepers seeking a little extra support. But all of Birch’s models are made from natural materials like wool, latex, and cotton, without any polyurethane-based foams.
