Pokémon Pokopia’s Next Event Announced, Introduces Gem-Hoarding Goblin Sableye
SHARE

The next Pokémon Pokopia in-game event has now been formally announced, and it’ll star the lovable gem goblin Sableye.

Sableye’s Gem Hunt will begin next week, on April 29 at 5am local time, and run for around a fortnight — until May 14 at 4.59am.

This time around, as you might expect, you’ll be helping the diminuitive Dark-type gather precious resources, which you can then exchange with the creature for event-exclusive rewards.

If you played Pokémon Pokopia’s More Spores for Hoppip event, you’ll be familiar with what’s on offer here. You’ll encounter Sableye outside a rebuilt Pokémon Center (so don’t delay sorting one of those) then be sent off to find Red Crystal Fragments in Dream Islands (so you’ll also need to enlist the help of Drifloon).

Pokémon Pokopia players have known about this upcoming Sableye event unofficially for some time, thanks to the ability to time travel into the future and experience upcoming in-game content ahead of it becoming officially available. (You can also still time travel backwards, if you missed Hoppip and want to catch up.)

Right now, Pokopia is hosting its Bulbasaur Jump Rope event — which is set to wrap up on April 27. Leap in-game now and you could win yourself an exclusive trophy item. Alternatively, if you want to get a head start on helping Sableye next week, IGN has a guide on how to time travel in Pokémon Pokopia. Happy hunting!
