The Star Wars watches are collector’s edition variants of Citizen’s popular chronograph watches with Eco-Drive technology. An Eco-Drive watch contains a solar cell that sits beneath the transparent dial and collects energy from any light source – both natural and artificial – to power the battery. This light could derive from the sun, overhead lights, or even your desk lamp. The battery can run for up to six months in between charges and, under normal usage, the watch will never need battery replacement or manual winding. It’s a fabulous technology that is well-regarded amongst the watch community for its reliability and convenience.

The Luke Skywalker watch features a silver-tone stainless steel case with blue aluminum bezel and brown leather buckle strap. The two pushers are accented in blue and green, representing Luke’s lightsaber colors throughout the original trilogy. The blue dial face is watermarked with the Rebel Alliance logo. Two subdials feature a birds-eye view of Luke’s T-65 X-wing starfighter as well as his iconic battle with Darth Vader. The watch looks amazing at night too; the indices and subdials are luminous green, while the hour and minute hands are luminous blue and green, respectively.

The Rebel Pilot watch features a silver-tone stainless steel case with black aluminum bezel and orange leather buckle strap. The black dial features orange accents and the three subdials depict a red Rebel Alliance logo, Rebel pilot helmet, and X-Wing starfighter. In the dark, the indices, X-Wing, and hands (hours, minutes, and seconds) glow a luminous blue.

Luminous

Star Wars-themed watches at this price point are relatively uncommon, and you can’t go wrong with a Citizen watch if you’re looking for something stylish, convenient, versatile and, of course, precise.
