Indie games publisher Silver Lining Interactive has revealed the first title from its internal IP development label, Silver Bullet.
Called Mr Trippy, the game is described as a “bold, offbeat, darkly comedic and delightfully weird” management simulator.
Silver Bullet launched as an incubator program last August, providing indie developers with up to $100,000 in funding, as well as publishing, marketing, QA, and porting support.
It has since evolved into “a fully-fledged IP development label dedicated to creating original, unconventional, and memorable gaming experiences.”
“Spending so much time surrounded by incredible creativity inevitably inspired our own team,” said CEO Luke Keighran. “Before long, we found ourselves building prototypes, and one of those ideas evolved into Mr Trippy.”
“With Mr Trippy now officially revealed, Silver Bullet is stepping into the spotlight as our in-house IP label.”
Silver Bullet has additional projects in development and aims to “establish its own distinctive voice within the indie games landscape.”
Silver Lining Interactive launched in January 2025 after the closure of Merge Games in 2024.
Founders Luke and Joanne Keighran acquired several assets from the publisher before establishing Silver Lining Interactive.
Earlier this year, Luke Keighran described Silver Lining Interactive’s ambitions as “finding gaps in the marketplace where we think that we can have a nice little niche.”
“I think publishing needs to be as diverse as possible, if I’m honest, so you definitely need to try out things. Sometimes you think that some games are going to be super successful and they’re not, and then other games come out of the woodwork and they’re just incredibly, incredibly powerful.”
