Marvel’s Wolverine comes out on September 15, and on that same day Sony is also releasing a handful of new Wolverine-themed pieces of PlayStation 5 hardware. There’s a limited-edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle, some console covers, and a DualSense Wireless Controller, all decked out in black and either classic “Battle Yellow” or “Adamantium” white. They’re all available for preorder on PlayStation Direct, with the controller and console bundle available at a handful of other retailers. Read on for the details.

The Battle Yellow controller is bold and very “Wolverine-y.” I love it. It features three jagged yellow claw slashes across the touchpad and left grip, with some gray weathering on either side. The sticks and bottom portion of the controller are yellow, as are the shapes on the face buttons and the directions on the D-pad.

The console has an etching of the X-Men hero’s angry, yelling face at the top, with a triple slash going diagonally down the side of the machine. The whole thing is yellow and black, just like Wolverine’s costume. The controller is the same one available separately (see above).
