Team17 owner Everplay expects strong full-year results, as Bulkhead’s Wardogs and Expression Games’ Hell Let Loose: Vietnam are outperforming expectations.
Everplay has also increased its stake in Bulkhead following Wardogs’ success since entering early access on September 10.
Tencent previously owned Bulkhead, which was sold last December to a consortium including Everplay, Super Media Group, and Hiro Capital.
In its unaudited half-year results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, Everplay reported an 8% decrease in revenue to £66.9 million and a 29% drop in profit to £23.9 million.
Despite these declines, Everplay’s back catalogue revenue increased 1.2% to £64.3 million across more than 150 titles.
Four new titles launched in the first half, including Lumentale: Memories of Trey, Sintopia, Wardrum, and Rogue Point.
Subsidiary StoryToys saw revenue grow by 43%, active subscribers increase by 22% to 408,000, and total downloads surpass 18 million.
Everplay raised its game development investment by 14% to £16.4 million, enabling work on 20% more titles than last year.
Currently, 65% of games in development are based on original concepts and first-party IP.
“Our back catalogue posted another resilient performance in a half in which there were no major new releases, underpinning the solid foundations upon which Everplay is built,” said CEO Mikkel Weider.
“With a strong balance sheet, resilient catalogue, growing portfolio of first-party IP and innovative third-party games, we are well positioned to deliver accelerated growth.”
